SearchStax Cloud Private Azure
offers highly-secure Virtual Private Network (VNet) deployments using
SearchStax® in Microsoft Azure.
If your application resides in a Virtual Private Network (VNet) on Microsoft Azure, SearchStax® can provide Solr instances in a separate Virtual Private Cloud that is managed by Measured Search®.
Security and Compliance Benefits
A Microsoft Azure Virtual Network is a logically-isolated portion of a public cloud environment. It is a virtual network with specific rules for accessing other portions of the cloud and the Internet in general.
A VNet provides a highly-secure environment that prevents unauthorized access, DDoS and other threats that can compromise your application and network security. The heightened security of the VNet helps you honor your compliance commitments.
How does SearchStax interact with your VNet to provide Solr services without compromising security?
The VNet Peering Option deploys the Solr servers in a VNet managed by Measured Search. This VNet communicates with your application VNet through VNet-peering.
This guarantees that all of the operational aspects of managing Apache Solr are handled by Measured Search personnel. Measured Search engineers do not need access to your VNet.
